Move right. Observe that if you hold down the movement button, you will hop farther, and if you tap the movement button, you will hop a little. Use this combination to jump across the gap. Take short hops till you reach the edge of the gap and take a long hop to cross it. Continue right till the slope. At the slope, you will slide down. Time the jump to your right so that you dont fall into the pit. You should see a boulder and a rock to the right. Push the boulder by ramming into it. Push it just so much so as to see it rolling down. As soon as it starts rolling on its own, retreat back in haste (you will see why). When the log falls down and forms a bridge, cross it and continue right. You are through Chapter 6 of Limbo.

Move right to see giant spider-legs. You will die if it stings you. Move towards it slowly while observing its movements. It will not attack till you reach close enough. Its attack starts with bringing one of its legs up before the strike. When it does that, move back left. Timing is critical. If you retreat too early, the spider will not strike, and if you retreat to late, you are dead. If you time it correctly, the spider will strike the ground. Repeat this so that the spider strikes the ground again. This time, hear a metallic cling-clang. It is the sound of the bear trap on the tree branch when it fell down. Go back to find the bear trap on the ground and jump to its left. Push the bear trap towards the right till you reach close to the giant spider-legs. Approach the spider slowly while still pushing the bear trap. When the spider lifts its leg to attack, move back left, while still holding the bear trap. Notice that the strike is always on the same spot, the spot where you were standing when the spider was aiming. Repeat this such that, when you move back, the bear trap is right where the spider-leg would strike, snapping the tip of its leg off. Repeat this once again to snap the second leg. Observe that after the second leg is snapped, the spider attacks even if you are farther than usual, so retreat farther back. When the spider withdraws after its strike, repeat this once more to snap the third leg. The spider is hurt and leaves the area. Now that the area is not blocked, keep moving right till you get caught in the spider webs on the ground. No matter what you do, you will not be able to free yourself. The spider will then pick you up and spin a web all around you and hang you there to your doom. When the spider leaves, swing left and right in a hope to free yourself. You will snap of the ceiling and fall down. Move right away from the spider's lair. You will not be able to walk or run, but only hop. You are through Chapter 5 of Limbo.

Jump onto the log to see that it slips and you find a huge boulder on its way to smash you. Quickly jump back to your left. When the boulder reaches you, jump on to it and cross the log. Keep moving right till you reach a pool with a floating broken crate. Pull the crate back to the left till you see a hanging rope. Place the crate right below it, climb onto it and jump up to grab hold of the rope. Stay near the bottom of the rope and swing yourself left and right (by pressing the left and right movement buttons. Hold left till you reach the left end, and while you start your journey right, hold the right. Repeat this till your swing strong). Jump at the right time onto the branch to your right. From this branch, you have to keep climb the branches by jumping across them till you reach the top. First jump left, then left again, then right again. At this point you should be blocked by a snapped part of the tree to your right and you should find a hanging rop to your left. You can jump left onto the rope, repeat the swinging part, jump to the left branch to get the easter egg. Return to the snapped tree and push it. It will fall all the way down. Find your way back down (retrace your steps up, left, left, right, right, and then fall down). Move right towards the log you just pushed down and push it into the water. Climb onto it and jump across the pool. Keep moving to your right till you find a bear trap on a tree branch. You are through with Chapter 4 of Limbo.

Grab the boat and pull it to the right till the end. Jump onto it and then climb onto the edge of the wall. Jump to your right onto the wall to catch hold of the creeper. Climb up and then jump to your left to get hold of the rope. Climb up the rope till the top, and then jump onto the edge of the cliff. Keep moving to your right till you face two bear traps side by side which you cannot jump across. Grab the bear trap on the left and pull it left. Pull it enough so that you can jump the bear traps one at a time. Jump across both the bear traps and keep moving right till you find a weed laden rope hanging from a branch and a bear trap towards the right. The heavy weed does not allow you enough elevation to jump onto the edge. To get rid of the weed, pull the bear trap to the left till it is right below the rope. Climb back to your left and jump onto the rope. The weed gets caught in the bear trap and you will be pulled up enough to jump onto the edge on your right. Keep moving right till you find a fallen tree. You are through Chapter 3 of Limbo.

Pull the cart towards the left and climb on to it.  Jump on to the ledge and run towards the right. Jump onto the rope and get hold of it. Climb down the rope and fall on to the hanging ledge. Jump off the ledge from the left and then jump across the water pool to the right. Keep moving right and jump onto the boat. The boat should be set free automatically. Wait for the boat to reach the other end, and then jump off the boat. You are through Chapter 2 of Limbo.

Hitman: Codename 47 - Walkthrough - Mission 3 - Ambush in the Wang Fou Restaurant

Hitman: Codename 47 is one of the best games I have ever played. Hence I would like to dedicate myself to writing a walkthrough / game guide for the game to guide those who really want to get the best out of Hitman: Codename 47.

My intent is to live the life of Agent 47 as a Stealth Assassin and not a bloody killer taking advantage of not-so-intelligent AI (for example, guards rushing from a corner only to be victim to a massacre). Hence, I will try to complete missions with as little firepower and bloodshed as possible.

I have provided Gameplay videos to guide you through the game or just have fun watching a nostalgic memory.

Hitman: Codename 47 - Mission 3 - Ambush in the Wang Fou Restaurant

This is one of my favorite missions. Short and sweet (not the best choice of words, agreed, how about light and crisp?). I like this mission because it is the first mission which you solve all by yourself by exploring the environment.



Mission Summary

Your ultimate mission in Hong Kong is to assassinate Lee Hong, the leader of the Red Dragons. But getting close to him is difficult when there is an alliance of the Red Dragons with the Blue Lotus and also Police protection. You have already killed a Red Dragon member during his negotiation with Blue Lotus on Blue Lotus territory. This has increased the tensions between the two gangs. The objective of this mission is to destroy the alliance completely.

In this mission, Agent 47 is required to assassinate a Blue Lotus negotiator during his negotiation with the Red Dragon at the Wang Fou Restaurant. Since the assassination would take place on Red Dragon soil, the Blue Lotus would feel they are taking revenge and have no intention of a truce. This would ensure an all out war between the two gangs.

Difficulty- 4/10

Walkthrough:

Summary-
1. Kill car driver and put on his uniform.
2. Place the car bomb in the car.
3. Blow up the car killing all Blue Lotus members.

Detailed-
1. Wait and watch the car approach from your right. Once it passes walk through the alley to get to the street parallel to where you started. Watch the car arrive and stop in front of the Restaurant. Watch the cutscene and observe that the car driver also leaves the car.
2. Follow the car driver till he stops near a drain to stand there staring at the wall doing nothing. Stand beside him, crouch, take out the fibre wire, and take him out. Take care that civilians walking around do not see you. You need to crouch before taking the fibre wire out, lest you want your potential victim to hear the 'tzing' sound, turn around and make your life difficult. Once killed, drag him inside the drain quickly before the civilians come back to see a corpse lying around. Climb down the drain yourself, put on the driver's clothes, and get back up. I hope you get yourself a new pair of shoes after this mission.
3. Approach the car door (the driver's side). Take out the car bomb and activate the car to place it inside. Notice how the Blue Lotus negotiator completes his negotiation at the exact time you place the bomb and decides to leave.
4. Rush back to where you started this mission from and wait for the car. DO NOT blow up the car as soon as the Blue Lotus negotiator gets into the car. Wait for the car to be close to the three Blue Lotus members standing near your starting position. Blow the car when it is about to take the final turn to leave the area. If you timed it correctly, all the Blue Lotus members would have been killed without need for further effort.
5. Walk back to your car in style!

Hitman: Codename 47 - Mission 2 - Kowloon Triads in Gang War

This is one of the easiest missions given to Agent 47, and rightfully so since it is the first one. This mission is the first part of the Hong Kong series of missions.



Mission Summary

Walkthrough:

Summary-
1. Find good vantage point for sniping
2. Snipe Red Dragon negotiator when he is in conversation
3. Escape without being detected back to the black pick-up car. Walk out in style instead of running away.

Detailed-
1. Proceed forward from where you are dropped and take a right to find an alley between the buildings connecting to another road. You should be able to see the entrance to the park. Proceed forward till the entrance is to your right. To your left, find the elevator and proceed to the roof.
2. On reaching the roof, open the Sniper case and assemble your Blaser Jagdwaffen R93 Sniper. Go towards the side of the terrace facing the park. Find a good point so that you can clearly snipe someone at the center of the park. This shall be your vantage point. Now wait for the Red Dragon negotiator to arrive.
3. Watch the cutscene showing tons of Blue Lotus members exiting from a limousine along with the Blue Lotus negotiator. Observe another limousine park towards the left of the park when seen from the vantage point. Watch another cutscene showing tons of Blue Lotus members exiting from the limousine along with the Red Dragon negotiator. You are free to kill him as and when you feel like, but I personally like to use the Sniper against a still target. So wait for the Red Dragon negotiator to walk towards the center of the park and start his conversation with the Blue Lotus negotiator after a courteous bow.
4. Aim for the Red Dragons head (chest is also fine, but head shot is a sure kill). Wait till your wobble is steadier and take your shot. Watch the Red Dragon fly (if he doesn't die, he will run towards the car. It would be difficult to take him out with the sniper when he is at this speed. If you have brought a pistol, arm yourself and wait for him to come out the gate and near his car. With right timing, you should be able to take him out near the car. You would have a better timing if you had practiced with pistols in your training mission).
5. This should alert the guards and the Blue Lotus will send a guard on a Helicopter. Rush to your sniper case and dismantle your sniper back into the case. Rush to the elevator but stay on the far side of the elevator and wait for the helicopter guard to face away. Activate the elevator and proceed down.
6. Walk out in style in front of all the Blue Lotus guards towards your pick-up car (where you started).

Hitman: Codename 47 - Walkthrough - Mission 1 - Training

Hitman: Codename 47 is one of the best games I have ever played. Hence I would like to dedicate myself to writing a walkthrough / game guide for the game to guide those who really want to get the best out of Hitman: Codename 47.

My intent is to live the life of Agent 47 as a Stealth Assassin and not a bloody killer taking advantage of not-so-intelligent AI (for example, guards rushing from a corner only to be victim to a massacre). Hence, I will try to complete missions with as little firepower and bloodshed as possible.

I have provided Gameplay videos to guide you through the game or just have fun watching a nostalgic memory.

Hitman: Codename 47 - Mission 1 - Training


For the sake of completion, I would also like to include a short walkthrough for the Training mission as well, knowing well that there might not be one soul who would ever need it.



Mission Summary

This mission trains Agent 47 in the art of 'walking', 'running', 'climbing', 'gathering', 'opening doors', 'activating the environment', and presents opportunities to (but ignores significance of) use the Knife, Fibre Wire, and firearms. It also shows how changing clothes can be an effective stealth operation.

Walkthrough:

1. Open the door right in front of you and enter the room.
2. Pick up the clothes and move ahead to the next room. Find another door in front and move forward.
3. Walk up to the railing to cross it automatically. Climb the ladder. Move forward to the next railing and watch 47 take a leap across the railings. Climb down the ladder by turning and walking backwards towards the ladder (This might be helpful in missions instead of falling). Jump into the pit and climb the ladder ahead. Exit to the next room.
4. Turn right and enter the elevator. Activate Basement 3
5. On reaching Basement 2, exit elevator and enter the room on the right to find a dummy right in front.
6. Spend some time in this room learning how the Knife and Fibre Wire work. Notice how the Fibre Wire attack is different from the front and the back. Only an attack from the back can kill your enemy. Notice that the Fibre Wire takes more time than the Oyabun Knife to consume its victim. Learn how to holster your weapons and switch between them. Once done practicing, exit to the next room.
7. Pick up the pistols and some ammo and practice firing at the target in the distance. Learn the accuracy of such weapons in the long range. You can activate the button near the firing range to bring the bulls-eye target close to observe your accuracy better. Observe that picking up two pistols allows you to wield a deadly dual pistol mode. Once done practicing, holster weapons and exit to the next room.
8. Pick up the Sub-Machine Guns and some ammo and proceed to the practice range. Walk through the make-shift practice arena for the SMGs while targets pop up at the windows. It doesn't matter if you even just walk across the range (so that you get trained in walking around with an unholstered Uzi). Walk across the range towards the elevator, call the elevator and activate it to go to Basement 2.
9. Exit the elevator to find a Shotgun, a Kalashinkov AK 103 and an R93 Sniper rifle. Get a feel of the firing accuracy of each weapon and the wobble when using a Sniper. Learn how to zoom in and out of the R93 Sniper rifle. Practice plenty with the sniper as, in later missions, it will be one of the weapons in which you will have to be point accurate or risk failing a mission. Exit the firing range towards the elevator and activate it to move to Basement 1.
10. You can take out the orderly in any way you like. I prefer using the sniper, for it will be a chance to shoot at a moving target and besides, it is already equipped. Once taken out, move close to him and Change Clothes. Wearing the elderly's clothes, move to the next room to a locked gate with an orderly behind it. Seeing you in orderly clothes, he will move forward and open the gate for you. Exit the gate and walk forward.

I always have an eerie feeling watching the cutscene at the end of the training mission.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - Harry vs Slytherin Dueling 5 Star - Game Guide and Walkthrough











Getting 5 Stars in Dueling is quite easy if you get the hang of disabling your opponent with disabling spells like Petrificus Totalus, Expelliarmus or Levicorpus. This walkthrough / game guide also helps in defeating opponents in one single shot. It kind of made the dueling system pretty easy if you ask me.



Step 1. Cast a disabling spell (Petrificus Totalus, Expelliarmus or Levicorpus) successfully on your opponent to disable them.

Step 2. Charge your Stupefy Spell up to 2 levels. You will know it is fully charged when you hear a 'click' sound two times. You can also see that Harry is holding his wand up and the glow at the end of the wand is brightest.

Step 3. Walk up close to your opponent. Walk as close as possible. Then release your Stupefy spell.

Any opponent, be it Goyle or Bellatrix Lestrange, will be defeated in one single shot. This is because the charged Stupefy launches multiple Stupefys in at different angles in front of Harry, all of which would hit the opponent if Harry is standing close to him/her.

How to maximize power of your spells

You can increase the power of your dueling spells by defeating the champion of each Dueling Club (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Slytherin). So as soon as you come across a Dueling club, ensure that you approach the notice board and defeat all opponents including the champion in that house.

How to Caste a Disabling Spell

You can only caste certain of these spells after learning it.

1. Expelliarmus - Rotate the mouse in the clockwise direction creating a circle. Keep creating circles to ensure you cast the spell. Once you see Harry casting the spell, stop the mouse action so that you don't cast again and waste valuable time.

2. Petrificus Totalus - Move the mouse up and down. Once you see Harry casting the spell, stop the mouse action so that you don't cast again and waste valuable time.

3. Levicorpus - Move the mouse left and right. Once you see Harry casting the spell, stop the mouse action so that you don't cast again and waste valuable time.

How cast a Fully Charged Stupefy Spell

Hold down the left mouse button and see the spell being charged. Wait till you here a click two times and see Harry hold the wand up with the spell glowing the brightest. Face your opponent and release the mouse button to defeat your opponent in a single shot.
